What we offer
Dematic has an immediate need for a Head of Solution Development for the Overhead and Circular Sortation Center of Excellence department. This position reports directly to the Sr. Director, Global Commercial Standardization and is responsible for managing the "Solution Development Overhead System and Circular Sortation Centers of Excellence" department.
Tasks and Qualifications
- Management of the "Solution Development Overhead System and Circular Sortation Centers of Excellence" department
- Liaising with CoE execution teams, Regional Sales / SD teams, R&D, and Product Management teams to drive the CoE agenda
- Assisting in the Opportunity Development of the Overhead System and Circular Sortation CoE
- Handling quotations and concepts for the internationally active Center of Excellence in Overhead and Circular Sortation Systems
- Managing overall costing in the area of overhead and circular sortation technology
- Creating calculation tools like "Draw & Quote" compliant with BT architecture
- Improving the quality and speed of quotation preparation
- Tracking costs regularly and working on cost reduction
- Supporting the LoA Process with financial key figures
- Implementing global tools such as QMA and Maestro
- Supporting the Bid-No Bid process
- Enhancing and developing existing concepts
- Reporting activities and results to CoE management
- Developing and managing budgets, KPIs, and business plans
- Building credibility with stakeholders, customers, and vendors as a trusted advisor
- Innovating and creating strategies to improve organizational practices and achieve results
- Working effectively in a proactive, results-oriented environment across all levels
