Health & Safety Advisor – Data Centre Projects Milan, Italy (across two live project sites) Up to €63,000 + Package Full-Time, Permanent Our client, a leading fit-out contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-specification projects across Europe, is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to support the successful delivery of two major data centre projects in Milan .Working for a specialist subcontractor, you will be responsible for driving health, safety, and environmental standards across both sites, ensuring compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and local regulations. The Ro leAs Health & Safety Advisor, you will work closely with project teams, site management, and client representatives to maintain the highest health and safety standards throughout the construction lifecycl e. Key Responsibilit iesCarry out regular site inspections, audits, and safety observations across both project locatio ns.Monitor compliance with company policies, client requirements, and relevant legislati on.Review and monitor Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAM S).Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefin gs.Support project teams in implementing safe systems of wo rk.Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, producing detailed reports and corrective actio ns.Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and documentati on.Track and close out safety observations and audit findin gs.Liaise with client representatives, contractors, and site stakeholders on all HSE matte rs.Promote a positive safety culture and drive continuous improvement across both projec ts.Assist with permit-to-work systems and high-risk construction activiti es. Candidate Requirem entsPrevious experience in a Health & Safety Advisor, HSE Advisor, or similar role within the construction indus try.Strong knowledge of construction health and safety legislation and best pract ice.Experience working on large-scale construction proje cts.Relevant Health & Safety qualification such as NEBOSH Construction Certificate, NEBOSH General Certificate, or equival ent.Excellent communication and stakeholder management ski lls.Ability to work across multiple sites and manage competing priorit ies.Strong auditing, reporting, and incident investigation experie nce. Desirable Exper iencePrevious data centre, mission-critical, pharmaceutical, industrial, or commercial project experi ence.Experience working for a subcontractor or specialist contra ctor.IOSH Membership or equiva lent.Knowledge of permit-to-work systems and temporary works safety requirem ents.Italian language skills would be advantageous but are not essen tial.
