We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Temporary Health & Safety (H&S) Specialist to support our Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) function. This role will contribute to the development and implementation of safety protocols, compliance systems, and ISO certification readiness, while ensuring ongoing support for training, documentation, and audit activities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in the development, implementation, and oversight of preventive and protective measures and related control systems to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Support the definition and delivery of information and training programs related to occupational risks and safety measures. Coordinate and supervise safety awareness initiatives across the organization.
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of health surveillance activities in collaboration with the appointed occupational physician.
  • Manage and organize safety and environmental documentation.
  • Ensure proper management and compliance of documentation related to the maintenance of in-house equipment and facilities.
  • Conduct H&S audits of subcontractors and support the drafting of DUVRI (Documento Unico di Valutazione dei Rischi da Interferenze) in compliance with regulatory requirements.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in Health & Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, ASP/CSP, or local equivalent) is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in H&S management, preferably within industrial, construction, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards and implementation processes is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to conduct safety audits and coordinate with external providers and subcontractors.
  • Excellent communication and training facilitation skills.
  • Fluency in English.
