About the Role:
For our office in Milan, we are currently looking for a Healthcare Compliance Specialist on a Fixed Term Contract. The Healthcare Compliance Senior Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the organization complies with all applicable healthcare regulations, ethical guidelines, and company policies. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare regulations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to implement and monitor effective compliance programs.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the organization complies with all local, national, and international healthcare laws and regulations;
- Update and maintain company policies in line with current regulations;
- Conduct monitoring activities to verify compliance and identify areas for improvement;
- Develop and conduct training programs for staff on the importance of compliance and healthcare regulations;
- Provide advice and support to employees on compliance issues;
- Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks;
- Collaborate with the legal team to manage any investigations or legal actions related to compliance;
- Maintain effective relationships with regulatory authorities and respond to any requests or inspections;
- Prepare and present compliance reports, such as transparency of ToV, to relevant authorities;
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all compliance activities;
- Prepare periodic reports for senior management;
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure business operations comply with regulations;
- Provide support during internal and external inspections and audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Health Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or a related field;
- Certifications in healthcare compliance (e.g., CHC, CCEP) are preferred.
Required Skills:
- Languages: Italian and English (fluent);
- Knowledge of the main productivity and collaboration tools (Google Workspace, MS Office);
- Extensive experience in internal auditing, with a focus on global operations and multinational environments (at least 3 years);
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to present complex issues and solutions clearly to non-expert audiences;
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and provide strategic guidance to senior management and audit committees.
