Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many industries, including Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, and space exploration vehicles. Our high‑frequency electromagnetics simulation team is hiring a Technical Product Manager to advance antenna design, propagation analysis, scattering problems, and complex EM system modelling, where accuracy, performance, and usability are paramount.

You'll make a difference by:

  • Helping define product features by analysing workflows and clarifying technical requirements.
  • Providing domain‑specific input during implementation to support engineering and UI decisions.
  • Analyzing defects to uncover root causes and translating complex problems into clear, prioritised guidance.
  • Assessing proposed designs and workflow changes and offering focused, EM‑informed feedback.
  • Contributing technical insights to planning discussions within the Program Management organization.
  • Monitoring development progress and offering clarifications to keep features aligned with intended behaviour and within time constraints.
  • Documenting feature requirements, expected behaviours, and workflow considerations in a clear and structured way.

Your success is grounded in:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (completed coursework in electromagnetics and high‑frequency techniques, or equivalent knowledge gained through experience).
  • Proven industry experience in computational electromagnetics.
  • Solid understanding of time‑domain methods and high‑frequency EM behaviour.
  • Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Python for automation or workflow improvement.
  • Familiarity with modern software development practices, including version control, code review processes, and agile development methodologies, together with practical experience writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria.
  • The ability to communicate effectively across technical disciplines.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify friction points in workflows and translate insights into actionable improvements for usability and overall user experience.
