Application Specialist (1st Line)
The Application Specialist provides operational, application, and quality control support to customers across the North region of Italy. This includes user training, troubleshooting, system installations, and quality-related activities, while ensuring that Sakura solutions are used correctly and according to procedures. The specialist works independently on non‑complex projects and applies a structured approach when required.
Responsibilities
- Support customers in user training, troubleshooting, system installations, and quality-related activities.
- Ensure proper usage of Sakura solutions and adherence to procedures.
- Work independently on non‑complex projects, applying structured, well‑considered approaches when needed.
Qualifications
- Relevant degree in Laboratory Sciences or equivalent background.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in histopathology is strongly recommended.
- Strong training and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Hands‑on, practical mentality with high customer focus.
- Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary, cross‑country teams.
- Fluency in Italian language and proficiency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel at least 50 % of the time.
