HMI Function Owner - Automotive

We are looking for an HMI Function Owner to join our team for a key project with one of our major automotive clients.

In this role, you will act as the main point of contact for all HMI function topics across small series and production vehicles. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and validate HMI functionalities.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the key contact for all HMI function activities.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to define and negotiate functional requirements.
• Define and track HMI Function KPIs .
• Analyze, manage, and resolve HMI-related functional issues.
• Support validation and testing activities for HMI functionalities.
• Contribute to the HMI function strategy and roadmap.
• Provide technical input for change requests, RFIs, and RFQs.
• Ensure quality and consistency of engineering deliverables.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in HMI lighting systems, or infotainment systems
• Proven experience in requirements definition, derivation, and management .
• Knowledge of a utomotive electronic architecture, CAN / LIN networks , OBD, and automotive ECUs (BCM).
• Experience with automotive validation and integration processes (vehicle testing, simulation, and test report analysis).
• Experience with Vector CANoe/CANalyzer.
• Good knowledge of Confluence , Jira , and MS Office .
• Fluent English (mandatory); German or Italian is an asset.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
