Situated in a historic and prestigious location, our new property will redefine elegance and hospitality in the city—and we’re looking for exceptional talent to join us from the very beginning.


We are currently seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team through the pivotal pre-opening phase and beyond. This is a rare opportunity to shape the standards, recruit and train your team, and be a key contributor to the operational excellence of one of Rome’s most anticipated luxury hotel openings.


As Housekeeping Manager, you will play a central role in establishing operational standards, setting up the department, selecting high-calibre team members, and creating a service culture aligned with Corinthia’s values. You will be responsible for implementing efficient housekeeping operations, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, and ensuring a five-star guest experience in every room and public area.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and coordinate all housekeeping activities during the pre-opening phase, including departmental setup, policies, and procedures.
  • Actively participate in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of the housekeeping team.
  • Design and implement efficient workflows and staffing plans in response to occupancy levels and business needs.
  • Ensure excellence in cleanliness and presentation across guest rooms, suites, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
  • Monitor quality standards through regular inspections and guest feedback, ensuring full adherence to Corinthia's standards as well as LQA and Forbes criteria.
  • Foster a culture of motivation, development, and high performance within the team.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments (Front Office, Engineering, F&B) to ensure seamless guest service.
  • Contribute to budget planning and ensure adherence to financial targets and KPIs.


Requirements


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership role within a luxury hospitality environment (preferably in 4* or 5* hotels).
  • Knowledge of LQA (Leading Quality Assurance) and Forbes standards is preferable.
  • Strong experience in team management, training, and development within high-performance environments.
  • Solid understanding of housekeeping procedures, technical cleaning, fabric care, and room presentation.
  • Fluent in Italian and English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Proficiency in housekeeping systems and hotel PMS (e.g., Opera Cloud, Knowcross).
  • Strong focus on continuous improvement and process innovation.
