HQ Purchasing Intern

Prysmian HQ Purchasing Function is looking for an intern to join the HQ Operations Team. The selected candidate will support procurement activities across a range of commodities, addressing the needs of several HQ departments. Key Activities

Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs Codify new suppliers, manage and constantly monitor the qualification/codification process Examine economic and commercial offers Align contractual terms and general terms and conditions Support price negotiation and selection of winning vendor(s) Create and issue purchase orders in SAP Key Challenges

Manage all steps of a Procure‑to‑Pay process Negotiate and communicate effectively Apply contract management skills Success is Defined By

Satisfying internal client requests on time Adhering to all steps in the Procure‑to‑Pay process in terms of compliance and quality Using Prysmian tools effectively Exciting Aspects

Dynamism Negotiation opportunities Variety of commodities involved in the process Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, engineering or a related field Fluent in English, both written and spoken Knowledge of Office Suite, especially Excel Curiosity and proactivity Equal Opportunity Employer
