Job Title: HR Assistant/HR Administrator

Location: Vicenza (province)

Salary: up to €35,000p.a.

Are you a proactive and organised Human Resources and Personnel professional with strong communication skills in both Italian and English?

We're looking for an HR Administrator/HR Assistant to join a well-established engineering business based in Vicenza (province), supporting a local workforce of around 200 employees.

The Company

A well-established specialist engineering business based near Vicenza, Italy. They have recently been through an exciting acquisition and have joined forces with a UK based global leader in the energy field. The site plays a critical role in supporting the expansion of the business offering, with increased production capacity and a strengthened supply chain forming part of a wider strategic growth plan.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key point of contact for HR-related queries at a local level while working closely with a UK-based HR team to ensure consistent and aligned HR processes across the business.

What you will be responsible for

  • Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day Human Resources and Personnel queries from employees and managers.
  • Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and other HR documentation.
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
  • Liaise with the UK HR team to ensure local practices align with group policies and procedures.
  • Support the delivery of HR projects and initiatives as required

What do we need from you?

  • Previous experience in a similar HR administration or HR assistant role.
  • Fluent in Italian and English - written and spoken.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Confident communicator with a people-first approach.
  • Ability to work from the site in Vicenza (province)
  • Familiarity with local Italian employment law and HR practices is beneficial.
