HSE Manager Italy

As HSE Manager, you will lead the environmental, health and safety program across three Italian sites (Bologna, Milano, Vicenza). You will drive ISO 14001 and UNI ISO 45001:2018 compliance, foster a proactive safety culture, and partner with site leaders to embed sustainable EH&S practices. You will identify hazards, implement controls, and improve health, safety and environmental performance to protect people and operations. This role offers influence across manufacturing, with a clear impact on risk reduction and regulatory alignment.

• Identify, evaluate and control hazardous conditions and practices
• Conduct on-site inspections and hazard analyses to assess conditions
• Advise on applicable regulations and company policies
• Coordinate implementation and effectiveness measurement of hazard controls
• Develop and deliver HSE training and safety culture programs
• Align with ISO 14001 and UNI ISO 45001:2018, revise SSOWs and SOPs
• Manage environmental compliance programs (hazardous waste, air permits, water pollution, community right-to-know)
• Submit regulatory, divisional and site reporting on time
• Own HSE cost centre and budget-related actions
• Oversee contractor documentation and site access controls
• Support relations with public authorities for licences, permits and reports
• ASPP certified
• Previous HSE Manager experience in manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 and UNI ISO 45001:2018
• Excellent knowledge of Italian safety legislation (D.Lgs. 81/08)
• Solid knowledge of occupational health, safety and environmental regulations
• Proven ability to train and develop teams in health, safety, and environmental matters
• Lean/continuous improvement knowledge is a plus
• Fluent in Italian and English (written and verbal)
• Desirable: plastic injection moulding experience, warehouse & distribution operations, RSPP certified
