Human Technopole (HT) is an interdisciplinary life science research institute, created and supported by the Italian Government, with the aim of developing innovative strategies to improve human health. HT is composed of five Centers:
Neurogenomics, Computational Biology, Structural Biology, Genomics, and Health Data Science. The Centers work together to enable interdisciplinary research and to create an open, collaborative environment that will help promote life science research both nationally and internationally.
With the aim of consolidating the HSE team, HT is hiring an HSE Trainer.
The new colleague, directly reporting to the Head of HSE, will be responsible for defining, organizing, and delivering training programs related to health, safety, and environmental standards for all employees and external personnel. This role ensures that the workforce remains informed and compliant with safety regulations, fostering a culture of safety within the organization
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Plan and manage HSE training programs in collaboration with the Head of HSE, identifying training needs for new hires, employees, and emergency teams.
- Deliver HSE onboarding, refresher, and on-the-job training for internal staff and external personnel (e.G., contractors, maintenance workers).
- Support incident investigations by providing corrective action training and promoting awareness of safety, environmental protection, and emergency preparedness.
- Ensure training materials and facilities are up to date, compliant with regulations, and conducive to effective learning.
- Track training progress and maintain accurate documentation, conducting audits when needed to identify and close knowledge gaps.
Job requirements
Essential requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific or technical disciplines, such as Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Biology, Engineering or similar.
- 1–3 years of experience in the HSE field, in roles such as prevention technician and/or safety liaison for laboratory environments.
- Working experience with Italian relevant legislation
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written
Preferential requirements:
- Strong knowledge of health and safety training requirements and best practices
- Certification in HSE practices or as a trainer (e.G., Train the Trainer)
- Working experience in Pharma, IRCCS and research institutes
- Working knowledge of SAP, PowerBI and/or training management tools
Organizational and social skills:
- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to engage and motivate
