HSQE Manager Italy – R
Reporting to the Head of Global HSQE, the HSQE Manager Italy will coordinate Health & Safety, Quality and Environment across Nadara’s wind and solar operations in Italy. The role involves setting up and monitoring a dynamic HSQE framework, supporting local teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and implement HSQE policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including appointment as Dirigente Delegato pursuant to Italian legislative decree 81/08.
- Develop and oversee preventive and corrective action plans at wind and solar farms.
- Implement and coordinate emergency procedures.
- Monitor and supervise contractors to ensure compliance with legal and Nadara requirements.
- Support local organizations in meeting legal requirements.
- Provide guidance on method statements, safe systems of work, updated legislation and best practices across jurisdictions.
- Define and implement local HSQE training plans.
- Contribute to company‑wide HSQE policies, guidelines, procedures, objectives and KPIs.
- Manage and analyze HSQE performance data.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, conduct thorough investigations and identify improvement areas.
- Support hazard identification, risk evaluation and control of occupational and environmental risks.
- Design initiatives to promote environmental and safety awareness internally and externally.
- Hold regular meetings with global and local functions to assess HSQE needs and provide support.
- Review and validate HSQE requirements in contracts.

Skills & Knowledge

Relevant Experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience in HSE management in the renewable energy sector, particularly wind and solar.
- Experience with ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 management systems.
- Experience in developing and implementing safety and environmental procedures.
- Experience conducting site inspections and audits.
Education & Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering (preferably Environmental Engineering).
- Occupational Health & Safety Diploma (RSPP).
- Internal auditor on ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and knowledge of ISO 9001.
- Qualification for carrying out safety training is preferred.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
- Driver’s license.
Travel Requirements
- Availability to travel within Italy.
Location
Milano – Martesana (ideally). Candidate must be based in Italy, preferably Milan.
