Philogen S.p.A. is looking for a Human Resources Assistant to join its Human Resources Department .This role represents a unique opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented professional who wishes to develop broad, cross-functional expertise in Human Resources while actively contributing to the full range of activities managed by the HR function.
The selected candidate will support the HR team in day-to-day operational and administrative activities, taking part in key processes related to personnel administration, recruitment, reporting, organizational support, and internal coordination. The position offers the opportunity to gain a comprehensive and practical understanding of the HR function within a structured, innovative, and international corporate environment, with increasing autonomy and responsibility.
Main responsibilities
The candidate will be involved in a wide range of HR activities, including:
- Supporting the HR team in daily operational and administrative tasks;
- Participating in recruitment and selection processes, including drafting and publishing job advertisements, screening applications, and coordinating interviews;
- Managing personnel documentation and maintaining accurate employee records;
- Handling travel expense reporting for employees on business trips;
- Supporting the management and verification of monthly attendance records;
- Assisting in the analysis and monitoring of personnel costs;
- Providing support, when required, in the organization of corporate events;
- Supporting, when needed, the organization of travel arrangements for senior management;
- Providing general administrative support to the HR Department and contributing to the continuous improvement of internal HR processes.
Requirements
- Degree in Law, Economics, Human Resources, or related fields;
- At least 2–3 years of experience in a similar HR support or HR administration role;
- Good knowledge of HR administrative processes and personnel documentation;
- Strong interest in personnel administration, labour law, and HR operations;
- Good knowledge of English;
- Good command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills;
- Accuracy, reliability, discretion, and confidentiality;
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn across different areas of Human Resources.
Preferred qualifications
- Previous experience in structured companies or consultancy environments;
- Academic background or further studies in labour law or HR management;
- Familiarity with attendance tracking and personnel cost reporting;
- Experience in coordinating logistics, travel arrangements, or internal events will be considered a plus;
- Master’s degree or specialization in Human Resources Management and Personnel Administration.
