At Beyond Talent Recruitment, we're thrilled to be supporting our client, a luxury fashion brand based in Milan, in their search for a dynamic and adaptable HR Director. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced HR leader who's ready to embrace a new challenge within a smaller, agile environment during a pivotal growth phase.
As their new HR Director, you'll be the linchpin of their people strategy, responsible for shaping and implementing all HR initiatives that drive the brand's success. You'll report directly to senior leadership and play a critical role in fostering a high-performance culture that truly reflects their luxury ethos.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead HR Strategy: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive HR strategies that align with business objectives and support ambitious growth plans.
- Drive Talent Acquisition & Retention: Spearhead innovative recruitment initiatives to attract top talent in the luxury fashion sector. Develop robust retention strategies to ensure valued employees thrive and grow with us.
- Shape Company Culture: Champion a positive, engaging, and high-performance work environment. Develop and implement programs that enhance employee satisfaction, engagement, and productivity, embodying the values of a luxury brand.
- Develop HR Policies & Procedures: Create, update, and ensure compliance with all HR policies and procedures, keeping pace with relevant labor laws and best practices in both Italy and the broader fashion industry.
- Manage Performance & Development: Implement effective performance management systems and foster a culture of continuous learning and development for all employees.
- Oversee Compensation & Benefits: Manage competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent in the luxury market.
- Partner with Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on all HR-related matters, providing insights and solutions that support strategic business decisions.
- Lead HR Operations: Oversee all day-to-day HR operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and a seamless experience for all employees.
Profile:
- Proven HR Leadership: Extensive experience as an HR Director or in a senior HR management role, ideally within the fashion or luxury industry .
- Growth Mindset & Adaptability: A dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and is comfortable adapting to the unique needs of a growing brand.
- Strategic & Hands-On: The ability to think strategically about HR's impact on business growth while also being willing to roll up their sleeves and manage operational tasks.
- Bilingual Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Italian is mandatory for this role, enabling seamless communication across all levels of the organization and with international partners.
- Strong Business Acumen: A deep understanding of business operations and how HR contributes directly to achieving company goals.
- Exceptional Interpersonal Skills: A natural ability to build strong relationships, influence stakeholders, and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
- Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to HR challenges.
- Based in Milan: This role is based in our client's Milan office, so candidates must be either located in or willing to relocate to Milan.
