Job Overview The HVAC Release Engineer is responsible for the development and validation of the automotive A/C line, pressure sensor and accumulator or receiver drier.
Responsibilities
Ensuring the components meet performance objectives and will coordinate development with other functional areas such as powertrain, BIW, Aero/Thermal, Engine Cooling and suppliers. Duties will include writing source packages, specifications, requirements, change notices and overall supplier management to meet program timing and deliverables.
Maintaining component and sub-system DVP&R, support and keep up to date with component bench testing, simulation, drive-cell and static cell test results as well as perform data analysis and establish proper corrective actions as required.
Needing to lead virtual team to design and perform CFD and FEA analysis for components to meet performance.
Supporting pilot build process at the assembly plant for development and installation of HVAC components.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience EDUCATION:
Bachelor of Science (Engineering)
SKILLS:
Strong PC + MS Office skills required.
Excellent written, verbal and listening skills and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Very good knowledge about Unigraphics NX and CATIA and PLM/ENOVIA.
Strong PC + MS Office skills required. Excellent written, verbal and listening skills and interpersonal skills.
Self-starter and motivated to produce results.
Experience with Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
Experience with Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R).
Basic thermodynamics knowledge.
Reactive problem solving (IS/IS NOT)
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with Design for Six Sigma (DFSS)
Knowledge about rubber hoses and aluminum pipes
Experience in e-compressors, chillers, EV components are a plus.
Basic knowledge in Thermodynamics.
Automotive assembly plant experience.
LANGUAGES
Italian mother tongue or at least profiency.
Good writing and speaking English (B2) mandatory.
EXPERIENCE:
1-3 years of experience in A/C line, pressure sensor, accumulator or receiver drier.
Other related design experience (Engine cooling, Aero-Thermal) is also a plus.
Offer
Salary range: from 37.000€ to 40.000€, that will be defined depending on the level of adherence of the candidate to the job requirements
Collective Agreement: In accordance with the provisions of the Specific Collective Labour Agreement (CCSL – CNEL code: CO10), and in particular with regard to the classification within the (third) professional area.
