Key Responsibilities
- Guarantee the availability of the IT infrastructure and related services, through the design, installation/configuration, operation, monitoring, and maintenance of Windows-based servers and their software.
- Ensure the security of the data and network (backup, disaster recovery, firewall …).
- Provide first- and second-line support to the end-users for their day-to-day issues.
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of the IT architecture in cloud solutions (Google and Azure).
- Develop and Manage Office 365 products (SharePoint, Power Automate flows, Intune, Azure AD, etc..).
- Manage the creation and roll-out of IT operational policies and procedures.
- Ensuring the security of the organization's computer systems by implementing and enforcing security policies and procedures and monitoring network activity for suspicious behavior.
- Monitoring system security: System Administrators monitor the company's systems for security threats and take action to prevent and mitigate any breaches that may occur.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the IT industry to ensure the organization's systems remain secure and efficient.
- Ensuring that all systems are up to date with the latest software patches and security updates.
- Manage backups of critical data and develop disaster recovery plans to ensure that the company's data is protected and can be quickly restored in the event of a disaster or system failure.
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 5 years of practical knowledge as a Network / System administrator on the Microsoft network operating system (security philosophy, system administration utilities, user management, topologies).
- Hands-on experience with Azure and MS 365 products ( Office 365, Intune, Azure AD, SharePoint, Power Automate, etc..).
- Hands-on experience in the cloud environment (Google and Azure).
- Knowledge of scripting to automate the IT process/tools (PowerShell minimum).
- Experience with third-party utilities (e.g. anti-virus, backup, software distribution).
- Security-minded and well-organized, able to handle and prioritize several activities at the same time.
- Team-oriented, quality-driven, open-minded, and agile mindset.
- Passionate about IT and a quick learner, proactive and enthusiast.
- Able to take ownership of a task, work on it autonomously and deliver a high-quality result within the given timeframe.
- Bachelor in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) is a plus.
- Fluent in English, and any other language would be considered an asset.
