ICT/Telecommunications Project Manager - Data Centers - Structured Cabling

Elusav Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a Telecommunications Infrastructure Project Manager with one of the leading engineering contractors in Europe. This role offers an excellent chance to work with a dynamic team and manage large-scale projects across Europe.

The Telecoms PM will lead ICT Infrastructure installations on Data Center projects, primarily structured cabling (Fiber/Copper cabling) taking responsibility for cost control, project management, site execution and team performance. Extensive progression potential on offer

Responsibilities:

• Fully Understand and Manage client expectations and specifications of Telecommunications Infrastructure Cabling on the Project.
• Management of all day-to-day site operations including Safety & Quality.
• Management of Project Schedule.
• Management of all costs associated with Project including:
• Labour.
• Material and Procurement.
• Plant and Equipment.
• Variations.
• Valuations.
• Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and staffing levels.
• Attendance at Site Meetings, with client and internal team.
• Develop and implement company procedures with the team.
• Ensure change management is handled correctly (Cost & Programme).
• Close out of all project items including Final Account, O & M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, Material and Plant re-locations, Project Plan – all with the Support of your Project team.
• All other duties associated with this role.

Requirements:

• 3 - 5+ years’ experience working in similar role.
• Extensive experience of Telecommunications Infrastructure Cabling
• Good Computer skills - Windows, MS Office etc.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well within a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to travel between European countries.
