Are you an experienced engineer or logistical specialist with a strong background in CADM and ILS processes? Do you want to play a key role in supporting one of Europe’s most important space infrastructure projects, ensuring the operational readiness of the Galileo Ground Segment?
We are seeking two dedicated ILS and CADM Engineers to join our team supporting the Galileo satellite navigation system. In this role, you will be responsible for managing spare parts availability, maintaining configuration and documentation accuracy, and providing logistic support across international ground stations in Germany, Italy, Belgium, and beyond. This is a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the success of Europe’s global satellite navigation services.

Possible Work Locations
The position is available at one of the following Galileo program sites:
Galileo Control Centre Italy – Fucino (near Avezzano)
Galileo Control Centre Deutschland – Oberpfaffenhofen (near Munich)
Galileo Security Monitoring Centre France – Saint-Germain-en-Laye (near Paris)
Galileo Security Monitoring Centre Spain – San Martín de la Vega (near Madrid)

WHAT WE LOOK FOR
✅ Education
- Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related technical/logistical field
✅ Technical Skills
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with configuration management tools and standards
- Ability to prepare reports, asset management plans, and support audits
- Good understanding of logistics and spare parts management
- Proven experience in CADM and ILS processes within space or aerospace projects
- Strong understanding of configuration control and configuration management
- Experience working in international project environments is a plus
- Knowledge of database solutions and data management tools is advantageous

WHAT YOU WILL DO
As an ILS&Configuration and Document manager, you will analyze spare parts availability, ensure optimal stock levels at ground stations worldwide, and provide comprehensive Logistic Support Services. You will also manage configuration and documentation processes, oversee the international flow of goods between Germany, Italy, Belgium, and global Galileo ground stations, and contribute to the effective integration and support of the ground segment infrastructure.
- Support Logistic Support Services for the Galileo Ground Segment.
- Analyse and report on asset and configuration management data.
- Assist in spares procurement processes.
- Maintain technical and configuration documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage data within ILS tools.
- Prepare for and support audits and inspections at Galileo ground stations in Germany, Italy, Belgium, and Spain.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure configuration control and documentation compliance.
