INDE – Pathway for technical and professional development
Danieli is a leading global industry group in the design and construction of steel plants. We operate in an international and highly technological context, developing innovative solutions for the steel industry. Within this reality, INDE was born, a path dedicated to the growth of young talents.
The role We are looking for motivated young people to join the INDE program, a structured program that allows us to develop technical and transversal skills through training and direct experience in the company.
From day one, you will enter Danieli on an apprenticeship contract. Depending on your background and aspirations, you can be placed in one of the following areas:
Technical Office
– You will develop drawings and design solutions, working on industrial machinery and plants. Professional figure: mechanical designer
Manufacturing
– You will have first‑hand experience in production departments, in contact with advanced technology and machining. Professional figure: specialized production technician
Buyer
– You will gain expertise in supplier management, negotiation and procurement processes. Professional figure: Buyer
Operations & Logistics
– You will develop a cross‑cutting view of the supply chain and production processes, from planning to shipping. Professional figure: Operations and Logistic Specialist
Construction
– You will participate in the design and construction of facilities, with exposure to international contexts and construction site activities. Professional figure: Civil Designer Engineer, Piping Designer Engineer or Electrical Designer Engineer
The path The INDE program is based on a learning by doing approach, which combines:
Technical training at the Academy
Direct experience in business contexts
Ongoing support and coaching
This is a structured and progressive path, designed to make skills immediately applicable in the industrial context. Along the way you will have the opportunity to:
Work on concrete activities and real projects
Acquire technical skills specific to your field
Know industrial and production processes up close
Engage with experienced professionals and learn in the field
Develop a comprehensive view of the business context
Requirements
Technical diploma, ITS or degree in technical/economic disciplines
Interest in the industrial world and technologies
Aptitude for learning and working in a team
Curiosity, proactivity and motivation to grow

The company applies the National Collective Agreement for the Metalworking Industry. The gross annual salary for this position starts from €27,600 and will be defined based on objective and neutral criteria, such as professional experience, skills, and the level of autonomy required by the role.
