Descrizione dell'offerta

Trillium Pumps Italy is looking for an Industrial Quality Engineer.

Part of the integrated Quality & Manufacturing Engineering team, the Industrial Quality Engineer works with ME and QA to ensure that quality requirements (customer, regulatory, and internal) are correctly translated into industrial requirements, embedded into production processes and effectively applied, contributing to COPQ reduction, OTD improvement and project margin protection.

Responsibilities

Including but not limited to:

  • ITP Governance: Define and maintain company standards for ITPs (templates, logic, and content). Ensure alignment between project ITPs and API / ISO / PED requirements. The creation of project-specific ITPs and ensuring that they remain updated throughout the project lifecycle, is the responsibility of the project execution teams.
  • ITP–Production Process Integration: Work with ME to translate the controls defined in the project ITP into shop-floor operations (SAP routings), define hold points/witness points, and verify that every critical control is planned, executable, and traceable.
  • Standardization of Quality Controls: Define company standards for dimensional checks, NDT, and testing (hydrostatic, performance). Ensure consistency across sites (Italy and the Middle East) and reduce execution variability.
  • COPQ Reduction: Participate in analyses of test failures and directly analyze rework and recurring nonconformities related to controls. Identify gaps between the ITP and actual execution. Propose improvements to control sequences, verification points, and test methods.
  • Support to Critical Projects: Participate in project gates (KOM, PIM, Final Inspection) and support the Project Quality (project execution) and Supplier Quality (Operations) teams as needed.
  • EBOM–MBOM–ITP Alignment: In collaboration with ME, verify consistency between critical components (EBOM), industrial sequence (MBOM / routing), and quality controls (ITP), and flag misalignments with potential impact on quality, lead time, and costs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support CI initiatives to reduce test lead time, eliminate non–value-added checks, optimize the inspection flow, and contribute to ITP digitalization (integration with SAP / EDM).

Qualifications

Technical High school diploma, at least three years in quality or engineering department. Good English knowledge read and written.

Knowledge of API 610; experience with ITPs and MDB; knowledge of NDT and pump testing; ability to read technical drawings; understanding of EBOM / MBOM; familiarity with SAP (Routings and BOMs); knowledge of Windchill or equivalent PLM.

Root Cause Analysis (5 Whys, 8D); structured problem solving; Lean manufacturing (basic).

Strong cross-functional integration capability; pragmatic (non-bureaucratic) approach; ability to influence without direct authority.
