Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls for OT systems and industrial networks, ensuring secure integration of OT and IT environments following ISA/IEC 62443 and Purdue Model principles.
• Monitor and respond to OT-related security incidents and vulnerabilities, supporting global initiatives for threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Support risk mitigation strategies towards NIS2 and ISO27001, performing risk assessments and implementing remediation plans for OT and IS environments.
• Oversee day-to-day management of on-premises infrastructure (servers, storage, virtualization, backup systems), ensuring reliability, scalability, and adherence to security and compliance standards.
• Serve as the main contact for designing and improving secure network architecture—such as VLAN segmentation, firewall rules, and remote access—across IT and OT, ensuring it meets corporate security standards.
• Implement and maintain hardening baselines for infrastructure assets, coordinating patch management cycles with global teams and monitoring compliance to reduce attack surface across OT and IS systems.
• Support compliance with corporate IS/IT policies and regulatory requirements, implementing ISO 27001 Annex A controls and NIS2 technical measures.
• Provide regular updates to SOC and Infosec team on risk status and mitigation progress, participating in global cybersecurity projects and knowledge-sharing forums.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, IS engineering, Mathematics or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in OT security, industrial networks, or cybersecurity roles or infrastructure (network) relevant experience; 5 years of experience required for candidates without Bachelor.
• Strong knowledge of industrial protocols and network segmentation.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (ISA/IEC 62443, NIST CSF) and compliance standards, in particular NIS2 and ISO 27001.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a global matrix organization.
• English language proficiency (C1 level) is mandatory.
• Knowledge of the Italian language is mandatory.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with risk management tools and vulnerability scanning solutions.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and OT environments.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CISSP, GICSP, or similar are a plus.
