Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Mechanical Design Engineer at Verme Projects. The position is on-site and located in Lavagna. The candidate will be responsible for designing marine system equipment and machines, using computer-aided design (CAD) software, and occasionally conducting research and development (R&D). Day-to-day tasks include developing mechanical systems, preparing technical reports and workshop drawings, collaborating with other engineers and departments, and ensuring that all projects meet industry and safety standards, following product development from concept to production.
Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design skills
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software - specifically Solidworks
- Proficiency in FEM - ANSYS
- Workshop drawings preparation and on site troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work on-site in Lavagna
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
