Role Overview
Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, you will be part of our Inside Sales Team, based in Milan. You will play a key role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives, focusing both on increasing our existing accounts as well as acquiring new business.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to identify new opportunities and reach sales targets, understanding clients’ needs and offering the most suitable solutions.
- Grow business with the existing accounts assigned to you (both small and medium players).
- Build long‑term relationships with new and existing customers based on trust, becoming also their point of reference for any queries regarding products.
- Search and qualify new leads (e.g., call dormant accounts, obtain leads from vendors, references, agents, web searches).
- Communicate clients about the launch of new products and illustrate product characteristics and highlight its competitive advantage.
- Prepare product offers/quotes and finalize sales.
- Upsell and cross‑sell to existing customers.
- Enter and manage orders up to dispatch using SAP.
- Engage with agents when a client requests an in‑person visit or when a large opportunity is identified.
- Keep the CRM up to date with client information and phone calls made, tracking performance and sales metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor/Master Degree in Economics, Marketing or related fields.
- Previous experience in Inside sales roles (tele‑selling) in a multinational environment (B2B is a plus).
- Fluency in Italian and English.
Skills & Experience
- Commercial attitude and strong customer orientation.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect and interact with prospect customers.
- Well‑developed customer sensitivity, pleasant communication and social skills to build long‑term professional relationships.
- Goal oriented, curious and eager to learn, with a hands‑on approach.
- Experience in using SAP and reporting sales performance in a CRM, Power BI or similar software.
