We're looking for a motivated Internal Auditor who specialises in financial crime to support regulatory audits. You'll be executing internal audits and adapting your skills to auditing new subject matter. Up to shape what's next in finance? Developing and executing audit programmes under internal policies, regulatory requirements, and professional standards Optimising data usage in the audit process to enhance risk understanding and deliver pertinent insights Providing input and assisting in identifying relevant risks and regulatory requirements for audit scopes Developing audit reports that identify deficiencies and root causes while providing recommendations that add value Conducting research and completing assigned training requirements to maintain professional relevance Performing follow-up reviews of deficiencies noted during previous audits Monitoring audit progress against timelines and managing projects to completion, escalating where required 3+ years of experience in an audit-related role within a regulated financial services environment ~ Comprehensive knowledge of the current regulatory environment, including EU money laundering directives, JMLSG, and FATF guidance ~ Familiarity with financial crime controls, such as KYC/KYB, due diligence, transaction monitoring, and sanctions screening ~ Motivation to learn, grow, and have an immediate impact as part of an expanding team
Experience in a fast-paced environment with a focus on execution An undergraduate or master's degree in a quantitative discipline Proficiency working with and interpreting data using SQL, SAS, or Python
