The International Accounting team is seeking an Accountant – Italy, who will report to the International Financial Controller and support day‑to‑day accounting activities for the Italian entity.
This role ensures accurate financial reporting and supports month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes. Key activities include managing accounts payable, performing cash reconciliations, reconciling the general ledger, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential duties and responsibilities where you’ll make the biggest impact
Prepare and post journal entries and perform general ledger reconciliations. Perform cash reconciliations and monitor cash balances. Manage accounts payable activities, including recording and reconciling vendor transactions. Resolve discrepancies with vendor statements in a timely manner. Ensure expenses are accurately recorded in the general ledger. Prepare weekly accounts payable payment runs and cash outflow forecasts. Maintain vendor accounts, including master data updates and payment term reviews. Support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing processes, including balance sheet and P&L reconciliations. Produce financial reports and analyses as required by management. Collaborate cross‑functionally to gather relevant financial information and support business needs. Participate in accounting and process improvement projects. Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities within the role’s scope. Office Location – Milan, Italy (hybrid onsite Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). Limited travel may be required. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills You’ll Bring to the Team
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance. Fluency in written and spoken English. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Experience with accounts payable and general ledger activities. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills. Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Compensation & Total Rewards Your actual base salary will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis and may vary based on role‑relevant knowledge, skills, experience, education and geographic location. You may also be eligible for equity and long‑term incentives in the form of RSUs, stock options and discretionary bonuses.
