About The Role

We are seeking an International Business Director to oversee and coordinate client projects end-to-end, ensuring smooth delivery from initial briefing through final execution. The role involves acting as the key liaison between clients and the agency across assigned accounts, managing timelines, deliverables, and communications.

The ideal candidate will leverage their industry experience to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, medical professionals, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and other stakeholders. They will also play a pivotal role in driving operational improvements, enhancing internal processes, and contributing to the evolution of the agency’s services.

In addition, this person will work closely with junior account team members, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to help them grow and prepare for future responsibilities .

How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:

  • Show proven experience in managing international business;
  • Be responsible for commercial development, overseeing the development of business goals;
  • Identify customer needs, new business opportunities and potential clients for growth;
  • Support CEO in strategic business decisions
  • Communicate appropriate strategy direction to the team
  • Lead the agency's new business pitches, working collaboratively with other agency teams;
  • Be responsible for negotiating contracts with clients and suppliers;
  • Prepare status economic reports;
  • Guarantee exceptional client service and client management activities;
  • Supervise Account Manager’s track budgets and ensure accurate monthly billing;
  • Responsible for team resources management and growth (staffing, training, career paths, conflicts…)

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field;
  • 8+ years Health Agency or related healthcare/pharmaceutical experience required
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to create successful internal and external client relationships;
  • Experience developing tactical plans and brand initiatives;
  • Excellent writing skills and effective communication skills;
  • Strong financial management skills;
  • Experience working with and managing internal accounts, creative and cross functional agency teams;
  • Fluent in Italian and English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
