Experteer Overview
In this role you will support the Group CFO across international subsidiaries, driving financial performance and visibility. You will help develop group-wide controlling, reporting, budgeting, and profitability analysis, collaborating with cross-country teams. The position offers exposure to cross-border projects, due diligence, and integration initiatives within a fast-growing, multicultural group. You will contribute to strategic financial decisions and enhance reporting tools and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the budgeting process and monitor deviations from forecasts
- Prepare monthly and management reporting
- Analyze sales, margins, and profitability by product/project
- Support cost analysis (direct and total costs)
- Contribute to EBITDA adjustments and performance evaluations
- Improve group controlling procedures and reporting tools
- Participate in financial due diligence and M&A integration
- Support cash-pooling and group financing activities
- Coordinate with international subsidiaries for timely financial information
- Assist in consolidated financial statements and ad-hoc international projects
- Travel internationally as required
Qualifications
- 4–7 years in controlling and finance, preferably international/industrial environments
- Experience in due diligence, acquisitions, and business integration (a plus)
- Fluent in English and Italian; German/Spanish a plus
- Familiarity with accounting principles, budgeting, and management control systems
- Advanced financial modelling and analysis skills
- ERP systems experience (preferably Business Central or SAP)
- Advanced Excel and Power BI or similar BI tools
- Strong analytical, detail-oriented, problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Willingness for international travel
