International Procurement Specialist (Aviation)| Milan
Focus on Distribution Technology
WHAT WILL YOU DO: ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a strategic, high-impact hire for our Procurement Team. We are looking for an International Procurement Specialist, based on-site in Milan, who will report to the Group International Procurement Manager and operate with a global scope, with a strong focus on hotel distribution, technology, and scalable procurement models.
In this role, you will help shape and execute Value Group’s global sourcing and distribution strategy, ensuring scalability, operational robustness, and technological compatibility, while acting as a key interface between procurement, operations, and technology to influence how partners are selected, contracted, connected, and managed across international markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify, assess and contract a global portfolio of hotel and transportation services providers, including major international chains, regional groups, independent hotels and transportation companies, and aggregators;
- Lead commercial negotiations on rates, availability models, payment terms, and contractual frameworks;
- Assess suppliers not only from a commercial standpoint, but also based on distribution setup, connectivity, and integration readiness;
- Work closely with internal tech and operations teams to support system integrations, connectivity flows, and process automation;
- Manage relationships with enterprise-grade connectivity providers, ensuring smooth operational execution;
- Monitor supplier performance, market dynamics, and hotel distribution trends to continuously optimize sourcing strategies;
- Produce insights, analyses, and recommendations to support group-level procurement and distribution decisions.
WORKING HOURS
The job is organized full-time, from Monday to Friday.

WILL YOU BE PART OF THE COMPANY?
ABOUT YOU
- You have proven experience in commercial, procurement, distribution, or partnership roles within hotel chains, channel managers, connectivity providers, or hotel technology companies, with a strong commercial mindset and proven negotiation skills;
- You have a solid background working in Hotel Chain HQs or Regional HQs, with exposure to distribution, revenue, partnerships, or global sourcing for large and structured hotel portfolios, or within channel management, connectivity, GDS, or hotel tech environments, and you are confident managing stakeholders and communicating across functions;
- You have hands-on experience with hotel extranets, channel managers, GDS, connectivity platforms, or consortia, ideally in complex or international setups, combined with a high level of technical fluency and the ability to discuss integrations, APIs, and system constraints at a functional level;
- You have a deep understanding of hotel distribution models, contracting structures, and system integrations, and you can translate business needs into operational and technical requirements;
- You bring proven experience in international negotiations with hotels or technology partners, supported by a data-driven and analytical approach to decision-making;
- You thrive in fast-growing, international, or tech-enabled environments, where adaptability and structured thinking are key strengths;
- Your Italian and English language skills are at a very good working level; additional languages are a plus.
