We are looking for an experienced recruiter to join our dynamic team, in any of our Starion Group offices in Europe (Frascati, Italy – Madrid, Spain – Leiden, The Netherlands – Wavre, Belgium, etc.).
Recruiters at Starion Group are responsible for managing the entire recruitment and hiring process. Unlike typical commercial recruitment agencies, our current and new projects (continuously brought by our Sales teams) constantly feed the pipe of new vacancies to work on, so no cold-calling, no client canvassing: you can focus on the candidate-experience and on developing your direct relationship with our hiring managers and internal clients.
Tasks and activities
The scope of work will include:
- Reviewing the job descriptions and suggesting improvements based on the job-qualification meeting with the hiring managers.
- Using appropriate platforms, job-boards and social medias, to identify, source and contact relevant candidates.
- Phone screening and interviewing candidates to verify the good matching with the requirements of the role and with the company culture.
- Keeping relevant, reliable and updated information in the internal recruitment-database, in accordance with Data privacy and GDPR regulations.
- Ensuring the right documentations are in order for each submission.
- Collaborating with the Recruitment Business Partners in deploying specific recruitment strategy when needed.
- Contributing to the development of an active pipeline of prospective candidates using research, networking, complex internet searches, etc.
- Ensuring candidates receive a “best in class” service in managing their application and preserving the continuity and fluidity of their recruitment process.
- Working on projects in line with improvement and strategies set by the company and Recruitment management.
Skills and experience
The following skills and experience are mandatory:
- A University Degree (Bachelor, Master or equivalent) in a relevant field, like Business Management, Marketing, Communication, Human Resources, Psychology, etc.
- At least 4 years of experience as Recruiter in European Technical, IT or Engineering Markets.
- Experience in Boolean searching and active sourcing through various social media platform including LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or similar CRM (Customer Relationship Management) System.
- A positive experience in communicating with candidates through the different stages of a recruitment process.
- Experience in picking up the phone for candidate-cold-calling activities and on the spot pre-screening.
- Excellent communication skills (including verbal, written and presentation skills).
- A proactive, friendly attitude and confident working both within a team and independently.
- Demonstrable evidence of multi-tasking and working towards deadlines.
- A passion for team collaboration, solving problems and talking to people.
- Comfortable using self-initiative when completing tasks.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
The following skills and experience would be highly desirable:
- Any other European language, both written and spoken, will be an asset.
- Experience in the engineering service delivery sector for Space, IT or Cybersecurity projects.
- Knowledge of European Institutional Bid (or tender, ITT, RFP, etc.) submission process.
