We are looking for a talented candidate to join our Italian Country Anti-Financial Crime Unit. The selected person will be part of the team responsible for overseeing and managing regulatory requirements related to international sanctions.

Key Responsibilities
Provide sanctions-related technical advisory support to first-line functions, ensuring compliance with Group and local policies and guidelines.
Maintain and periodically report the Opinion Log to the Group.
Support first-line functions by performing periodic reviews of business manuals—both local AFC manuals and broader business manuals—to ensure alignment with Group and local policies and guidelines.
Assist the first line in reviewing and adjudicating screening alerts.
Participate in delivering training to first-line functions on AFC topics.
Participate in strategic and operational projects by providing subject‑matter expertise on local AFC activities.
Support the execution of second-level controls and contribute to any related remediation actions.
Qualifications
Degree in Economics or Law.
Excellent command of the English language (both spoken and written).
Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Nice to have
Knowledge of life and non‑life insurance processes.
Understanding of key regulatory obligations related to International Sanctions, Anti‑Money Laundering (AML), and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT).
Previous experience in AFC‑related functions.
