The Opportunity

As we expand our presence across European markets and develop new technology partnerships, we are looking for an International Technical Sales Manager to own and grow our commercial relationships, managing existing key accounts and developing new business, both with the manufacturers we represent and with end customers. You will sell technically sophisticated solutions to engineers and technical decision-makers, working directly with our leadership and with a high degree of autonomy. The role requires both proactive new-business development and the ongoing management and growth of existing key accounts. We welcome both experienced professionals and high-potential junior candidates. What you'll do • Drive new business across the assigned markets: identify, qualify and win new customers and partnership opportunities, managing the full sales cycle from first contact to close. • Manage and grow relationships with existing key accounts and key decision-makers. • Deliver technical and commercial presentations, and prepare proposals and quotations tailored to each customer. • Represent our principals, build and manage a healthy pipeline, and negotiate commercial terms to meet margin targets. • Understand each customer’s technical requirements and work closely with our principals’ engineering teams and our operations to ensure solutions are feasible, correctly costed, and smoothly handed over into qualification, certification, localization and logistics. • Attend trade shows and industry events, and visit customer sites across Europe. • Monitor market developments, competitor activity and emerging trends; forecast and report accurately, keeping CRM data up to date. Key objectives & how success is measured • Achievement of agreed annual sales and margin targets. • Growth of new accounts and partnerships across the markets. • A healthy, well-managed pipeline and accurate forecasting. • Strong, trusted collaboration with our principals and internal teams, and high customer satisfaction across the sales cycle. Skills & experience Essential • Fluent English (our working language). • Strong commercial acumen and excellent communication and negotiation skills — able to be both technical and analytical, and to explain complex topics clearly. • Curiosity and the ability to learn technical products and markets quickly. • A self-disciplined, results-driven and autonomous approach, well suited to remote work across multiple time zones. • Comfortable with regular European travel (see below). • A genuine interest in advanced technologies and high-tech B2B. A strong plus • Experience in B2B technical sales or business development in advanced technology sectors such as navigation solutions, power systems and communication technologies, covering both civil and dual-use applications. What matters most is your ability to sell complex technical solutions. • Proficiency in additional European languages. • A track record of account management and new-business development in international markets. • A relevant degree (engineering or a related field) — or equivalent practical experience in technical sales. • An existing network among OEMs, primes, system integrators, distributors or resellers. : This is a remote, Europe-based role: your place of residence is flexible across Europe — what matters is your market presence and your willingness to travel, not where you live. You will travel across Europe approximately 40% of your time.
