Job Description
Stellantis is looking for a Logistics Engineer to identify the optimal storage locations for automotive spare parts based on their handling characteristics and physical dimensions, with the goal of improving warehouse density and operational productivity across put-away and picking activities. The role will contribute to enhancing competitiveness through the implementation of innovative technologies, data-driven solutions and continuous process improvements.
Main activities The intern, who will work in Material Allocation team, reporting directly to the team manager, will be responsible for:
Identifying the right warehouse storing areas of parts by their handling class and physical issues
Supporting the identification, implementation and monitoring of projects aimed to improve and optimize the material allocation areas
KPI & reporting elaboration
Collaborating with different warehouses and company teams (also from other countries) in order to ensure the efficient progress of activities
Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and the adoption of innovative methodologies
Interfacing with different warehouse areas
Key Requirements
Master's Degree in Engineering
Advanced use of Excel and Access
Advanced use of Power Point
Good use of data analysis tool (e.g. Power BI)
Data analysis skill and KPI elaboration
Fluent in Italian and English (C1 level or higher); knowledge of French is appreciated
Good technical discussion comprehension skills
Project Management basic skills: Gantt and costs management
Resilience and goal-oriented
Skills of optimal organization, logics and problem solving
Curiosity, proactivity and desire to learn
Flexibility, effective communication, critical thinking
