Inventory Planning Specialist

As part of the Supply Chain Service, the position will report to the Planning & Inventory Manager and will play the role of short term and long-term Inventory Planner.

Main activities & accountabilities:

• Monitor and manage inventory level with the aim of maximizing service and minimizing costs
• Support sales force analysing historical data and trends to generate the most accurate sales forecast
• Optimize purchase orders according to sales projections, customer’s orders, current inventory
• Optimize global stock by transferring products between business units to reduce overstock

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, Statistics or Economics
• Fluent in English, spoken and written
• A second foreign language is considered a plus
• Knowledge of SAP will be considered a plus
• Knowledge of MS Office tools, with specific proficiency in Excel
• Analytical mind with a problem-solving attitude
• Attention to details
• Good team attitude
