IoT Associate Engineer
Are you passionate about the Internet of Things and eager to make a significant impact in the digital engineering landscape? We are seeking a dynamic IoT Associate Engineer to become a vital part of our client's forward‑thinking Digital Engineering Team. Key Responsibilities
Assist in the delivery and deployment of transformative digital engineering projects. Verify OEM deliverables at manufacturing equipment during FAST and CAT against digital URS. Facilitate seamless machine integration into existing IT systems for manufacturing. Ensure affiliate readiness in terms of knowledge and infrastructure. Oversee the IIoT Gateway delivery process, from order to installation on the shop floor. Support affiliates in installation, commissioning, and IOQ activities for new IIoT projects. Job Requirements
Educational Background: A university degree in Computer Science and Engineering is essential. A master’s degree in Automation, Prototyping, and Robotics is highly desirable. Technical Expertise: Hands‑on experience with machine‑to‑machine and machine‑to‑system communication, IIoT solutions, and vendor management. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English skills, with a proactive, can‑do attitude. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with OPC Unified Architecture, IT and OT networks, OT Cybersecurity, and Computerized System Validation. Tools & Technologies: Experience with OPC UA tools, MQTT explorer, Grafana, Jira, Confluence, Remote Desktop, and M365. Project Management: SCRUM, Agile methodology working experience and project management skills are advantageous. Autonomy & Self‑Entrepreneurship: Ability to manage your own agenda with minimal supervision. Hybrid Model: Enjoy flexibility of a hybrid work model, with the opportunity to work from home 1–2 days per week upon agreement. We encourage on‑site presence, especially during the first three months, to foster collaboration and learning. Standard Hours: Work within standard business hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM). Work Conditions
Working hours: 40 working hours per week. Contract type: Permanent. Working setup (hybrid, on site, remote): Hybrid – 1/2 days from home. Salary & Benefits
Salary starting at 30,000 EUR gross per year, depending on seniority level. Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) applied: Terziario Commercio with benefits. Meal vouchers of 8 EUR per worked day.
