In this role, you will architect and operate the cloud-based SAP BTP integration backbone supporting ABB Robotics' ERP ecosystem. You’ll collaborate with ERP teams and security leads to enable a clean core and scalable platform across global operations. You will design integrations, develop cloud apps, and guide continuous improvement while balancing governance and innovation. This is a pivotal, hybrid-position on a path of digital transformation that shapes how we connect systems and deliver value at scale. You’ll join a pioneering, cross‑functional team driving the next generation of ABB’s robotics software landscape.

Responsibilities

• Design and run SAP BTP infrastructure across dev, test, and prod with focus on performance, cost transparency, and stability
• Architect and govern integrations between SAP S/4HANA Cloud and non‑SAP systems using SAP Integration Suite, upholding clean core principles
• Develop cloud applications and extensions using SAP BTP services (Build Apps, Build Process Automation, HANA Cloud, ABAP Environment)
• Create technical blueprints defining feasibility, approach, and system interactions while optimizing cost
• Monitor platform usage, identify variances, and propose actions to ensure scalability
• Troubleshoot integration failures and coordinate resolution with platform teams or SAP support
• Provide technical mentoring and training to resolve integration challenges and support projects
• Drive continuous improvement by evaluating new technologies and industry trends for feasibility and value

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of hands‑on experience in SAP integrations, middleware, or cloud app development
• Strong expertise with SAP BTP Integration Suite and S/4HANA integration patterns
• Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex production integration scenarios and performance issues
• Strong knowledge of SAP ecosystem, cloud platforms, and integration technologies
• Experience with SAP HANA Cloud, CAP, Event Mesh, or SAP Build tools is highly valued
• Track record in global organizations with cross‑regional stakeholders
• Fluent in English with strong communication across technical and business audiences
