Role Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Asset Management Specialist (Junior) to join our global IT Operations & Digital Employee Experience area.
The role will support the end-to-end management of IT assets , with a strong focus on end-user devices , operating according to industry best practices (ITIL / ITAM) in a multinational environment.
This position represents an excellent opportunity to grow professionally while working on global processes, tools, and platforms such as ServiceNow .
Key Responsibilities
Global IT Asset Management (ITAM):
- Support the global lifecycle management of end-user IT assets (laptops, desktops, mobile devices, accessories).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date asset records, ensuring data quality, traceability, and compliance with internal standards.
- Contribute to the definition and continuous improvement of IT Asset Management processes aligned with best practices.
ServiceNow Asset & CMDB Operations:
- Operate and maintain IT asset data within ServiceNow , supporting Asset Management and CMDB accuracy.
- Assist in reconciliation activities between physical assets, contracts, and system records.
- Support reporting and KPI tracking related to asset lifecycle, stock levels, and renewals.
Renewals, Logistics & Operational Support:
- Support device refresh and renewal cycles in coordination with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate logistics activities for asset delivery, return, and disposal.
- Collaborate with Service Desk and local IT teams to ensure smooth onboarding/offboarding processes.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
- Work closely with senior IT Asset and End User Governance roles to support global initiatives.
- Contribute to documentation, process standardization, and operational guidelines.
- Support audits and internal controls related to IT assets.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience & Knowledge:
- 2–4 years of experience in IT Operations, IT Asset Management, or similar roles.
- Good knowledge of IT Asset Management principles and lifecycle concepts.
- Exposure to ServiceNow (ITAM, CMDB, or Service Management modules) is a strong plus.
Technical & Analytical Skills:
- Good understanding of end-user devices and workplace technologies.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to work with structured processes and tools.
Soft Skills:
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good communication and collaboration skills in an international context.
- Ability to manage operational tasks with reliability and precision.
Language Requirements
- Italian: Native or fluent.
- English: Fluent (written and spoken).
