As an IT Business Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of innovative business and functional requirements, including gathering requirements from stakeholders, defining and designing business and functional needs, aligning and prioritizing requirements based on the product vision, and monitoring development using appropriate methodologies.

You will oversee software implementation iterations, ensuring practices, rules, and values are understood and behaviors are aligned with the Trace One methodology. You will also ensure that goals, scope, and product domains are clearly understood by all project team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead workshop sessions with customers to capture and document requirements effectively.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously according to statements of work.
  • Deliver system design elements, including data migration rules, business rules, prototypes, or other detailed deliverables.
  • Collaborate closely with the Project Manager, Product, Regulatory, and other departments to design solutions that meet project constraints.
  • Coordinate with the Enterprise Solution Architect to design solutions via Business Blueprint documents.
  • Refine and document detailed user requirements to provide clarity for Development and QA teams.
  • Work with project teams to enforce best practices and optimize core product reuse, refining requirements with Professional Services and end customers as appropriate.
  • Validate products during development phases according to project methodologies.
  • Assist in training efforts for Services, Sales, and Marketing departments.
  • Develop and provide PLM solution expertise.
  • Contribute to business case development for innovation proposals.
  • Support Sales and Pre-Sales teams with RFIs and RFPs when needed.
  • Collaborate with third-party entities such as system integrators and consulting firms.

Core Competencies:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing.
  • Ability to demonstrate software and communicate effectively at business and functional levels.
  • Proactive leader capable of facilitating requirement gathering sessions.
  • Quick learner of new products, systems, and technologies.
  • Effective collaboration with internal and external clients, including participation in user workshops.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Willingness to travel for requirements gathering.
  • Experience with PLM software implementations, preferably in the food & beverage industry.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Education and Experience:

  • Over 5 years of experience in preparing functional requirements, use cases, business process modeling, and creating use-case or sequence diagrams, preferably in the Food & Beverage industry.
  • Knowledge of the full Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with software design and modeling tools such as UML.

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
