We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Engineering Business Analyst to join our team. This role acts as a bridge between technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure the successful implementation and optimization of Engineering systems.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the link between Engineering business and IT stakeholders.
- Partner with Engineering business, product owners, tech delivery, and operations teams to gather, understand, and document objectives, specifications, and requirements for small to medium projects.
- Translate business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve business goals.
- Provide extensive knowledge of application process/integration best practices along with strong written, listening, and verbal communication skills.
- Ensure data integrity and cybersecurity for Engineering applications in partnership with the Global team and in alignment with Company Policies covering the role of system owner.
- Manage User Acceptance Testing across processes and projects; develop and execute unit/system test cases, scripts, and plans.
- Support IT efficiencies by identifying opportunities for portfolio rationalization to lower IT costs while reducing business risks.
- Support compliance of application environments by collaborating with the validation team.
- Promote a collaborative IT environment across the organization to achieve the best outcomes for business peers and customers.
- Apply blueprints, standards, and simplification to ensure effective solutions for Operations and customers.
- Contribute as part of a global team with potential regional international work; translate requirements into functional designs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with information models and healthcare industry data standards; experience with automation and agile architecture.
- Ability to use professional concepts and company policies to solve problems; self-motivated with strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and teamwork.
- Strong organizational and accountability skills; ability to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision.
- IT technical understanding focused on the engineering environment; ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Experience collaborating with diverse business and technical stakeholders; capability to work in a feedback-focused culture with action orientation.
- Commitment to continuous learning and quality; customer-focused mindset.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience as an Engineering Business Analyst with delivered projects.
- Knowledge of GxP regulations (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11), standards, and industry best practices; familiarity with SCADA, PLC, and manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies; ability to simplify technology for broader audiences.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken); familiarity with Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid project management frameworks.
