IT Infrastructure Engineer (On-Prem & Cloud)

In this role you will design, manage, and optimize Nadara’s on‑premises and cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and performance. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to support digital transformation and growth. You’ll tackle reliability, scalability, and disaster recovery challenges while implementing automation and IaC practices. Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain on‑premises and cloud infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS)
• Manage and monitor servers, storage, virtualization, and network components
• Administer cloud environments including compute, networking, storage, and security services
• Ensure reliability, performance, backup, and disaster recovery
• Implement security best practices, patching, and access controls
• Troubleshoot issues and perform root‑cause analysis
• Automate provisioning and operations using scripting and IaC
• Collaborate with application, security, and DevOps teams
• Maintain technical documentation and procedures
• Support capacity planning and cost optimization
• Participate in upgrades, migrations, and cloud adoption projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience as IT Infrastructure Engineer or similar
• Strong knowledge of on‑prem infrastructure (Windows/Linux, VMware/Hyper‑V, storage, networking)
• Hands‑on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls)
• Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and high‑availability architectures
• Familiarity with automation and scripting (PowerShell)
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team
