IT Infrastructure Intern

What you will do

We are currently looking for an IT Infrastructure Intern to support our international team in the following activities:

• Support the management and routine maintenance of servers and company IT infrastructure.
• Monitor resources, storage, and server environments (primarily Microsoft, partly Linux).
• Handle tickets related to technical issues or modification requests.
• Perform backup checks and contribute to procedure documentation.
• Collaborate on virtualization activities and management of cloud environments.
• Monitor, manage, and perform first-level troubleshooting of Windows Server, Linux Server, and VMware ESXi / vSphere environments.
• Support the management of network services such as DHCP, DNS, and Network Policy within a Microsoft server environment.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation (in English) related to the infrastructure solutions implemented by the team.
• Support the team in the progressive management of Microsoft Office 365 cloud services, including:
• SharePoint
• Teams
• OneDrive
• Assist the team with the administration of Office 365 environments and identity management tools.
• Develop basic networking and wireless configuration skills.

Requirements

• Recent graduate or final-year student in IT (e.g., Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or similar fields)
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft and Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and cloud services (preferred).
• Fluency in both English and Italian (written and spoken)
