Italian speaking and luxury hotel experienced Construction Manager – based in Florence (Firenze), Italy This is a senior, highly visible role requiring a hands‑on construction professional with proven Italian luxury‑hospitality experience, rather than a general project‑management background. Travel: Throughout Italy Our client is a leading global luxury hospitality group with an exceptional portfolio of hotels and resorts worldwide. They are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee new‑build and major renovation projects across Italy. Based in Florence, the Construction Manager will provide hands‑on oversight of multiple projects, working closely with ownership, architects, consultants, contractors, hotel operators, and local authorities to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, schedule, budget, and luxury‑brand expectations. Key Responsibilities

Oversee construction and major renovation projects from pre‑construction through completion and handover. Manage contractors, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and other project stakeholders. Monitor construction progress, quality, schedules, budgets, contracts, and project risks. Participate in contractor selection, procurement, contract negotiation, variations, and claims. Conduct regular site inspections and construction meetings across Italy. Ensure compliance with Italian construction regulations, permitting requirements, and local authority procedures. Resolve construction issues and ensure projects remain on schedule and to specification. Provide clear reporting to senior management on progress, costs, risks, and key project issues. Candidate Profile

Extensive hands‑on experience managing large‑scale luxury hotel construction and renovation projects in Italy. Proven track record delivering complex, high‑value construction projects from start to finish. Strong knowledge of Italian construction regulations, permitting, contractors, and local authorities. Established relationships and credibility with Italian contractors, consultants, vendors, and government authorities. Strong understanding of high‑end finishes, interiors, MEP, quality control, and luxury hospitality standards. Excellent contract, commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills. Fluent Italian and English. Willingness to travel regularly to project sites throughout Italy.
