Main activities

The jobholder will be responsible for defining the IVVQ strategy, leading and executing IVVQ activities associated with the development of SatCom Antenna Terminals and sub systems, for ground and airborne applications.

IVVQ management primary tasks :

  • V&V process management
  • Coordination of the multidisciplinary IVVQ team achieving cost, schedule and quality expectations
  • Coordination with the Head of Plant in terms of planning, resources and industrial means availability.
  • IVVQ costs tailoring and follow-up.
  • Organization of Lesson learned sessions
  • Contribution to the preparation of proposals for industrial and R&D activities

IVVQ Engineering primary tasks :

  • Definition of test methods, test sequences and specific test setups
  • Delivery technical documents (VCD, GSE Specification, IVVQ plan, test plans, test procedures, test report)
  • Identification of GSE and facilities requirements
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance of the EGSE/s during project life
  • Execution of RF/ electrical/antenna test activities until final delivery of flight equipment
  • Support anomalies investigations to identify root causes.

Competences

Education/Training :

  • Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering

Desirable : Post-graduation degree in Electronic Engineering

Experience:

  • At least 2-3 years of work experience on IVVQ management
  • At least 8÷10 years of work experience on IVVQ Engineering, including:
    • integration and test procedure preparation,
    • cconsolidated experience on RF/electrical/antenna testing by means of the most common measurement techniques and instrumentation
    • analysis of test results and test report preparation
  • Familiar with antenna performance validation methodologies, including indoor range and outdoor testing
  • Familiar with RTCA-D0160, MIL STD810, MIL STD461 standards for qualification processes
  • Basic knowledge of digital, electrical and RF design
  • Basic knowledge of the fundamentals of crimping and soldering processes
  • Capacity to operate Climatic Chamber
