What are we looking for?

We're looking to grow our team with an experienced Back-End Developer specialising in Java and Spring Boot, to join one of our most exciting international projects based in Italy.

Mandatory requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in software development
• Strong proficiency in English (working language for the project)
• Based in or willing to relocate to Italy
• Proven experience in cloud architecture analysis and design
• Experience leading or coordinating technical teams and/or resources
• Availability for on-call support

Technical stack — advanced knowledge required:

• Java / Spring Boot
• JavaScript / TypeScript
• Angular 16+
• AWS
• Docker & Terraform
• PostgreSQL & MongoDB

Responsibilities:

• Develop front-end and middle-tier features alongside the software engineering team.
• Improve existing functionality and build new features in line with current and future needs.
• Coordinate with the QA team for defect identification and resolution.
• Write and maintain technical specifications.
• Participate in the development, testing, and deployment of clean code in a DevOps environment.
• Perform other duties as required.
