Java Consultant

Primary Technical Skills: PostgreSQL, Oracle, PL/SQL, Hibernate and JPA, PG logical replication, Joins & Partitioning, MS SQL Server, scripting (linux/windows), Python, Git & Bitbucket Secondary Technical Skills: Database performance tuning, Java, Key Responsibilities and Tasks • Work closely with product owners to understand and translate business objectives into technical requirements • Analysing new change requests, design solutions and guide developers in implementation • Supporting the development teams and supervising the design, testing, and modification stages • Work as a part of the L3 support team • Design specification, develop solutions according to functional and technical design specifications given in change requests • Bug fixing & enhancements of work packages and services • Build and maintain IT solutions using technologies such as Java • Participate in RCA of incidents and effort estimation • Incident Handling & Problem Resolution • Change Management • Application Maintenance & Enhancement • Monitoring & Infrastructure Support • Documentation & Knowledge Transfer • Client & Team Collaboration Nice to have skills • Knowledge on Banking domain • Experience using JIRA and Confluence • C/C++/VB knowledge • Block chain Preferred personal qualities • Service minded and takes responsibility within relevant working areas • Able to work independently and to quickly pick up necessary knowledge and technologies • Good at communicating actively, appreciating and respecting diversity in the work environment • Working in a structured and analytical way • Ability to adapt and react to changes
