JUNIOR BUYER / BUYER (FASHION & COSMETICS)

We are looking for a Junior Buyer/Buyer  to join our team in Milan.

You'll take care of the fashion and beauty categories.

It’s a role in international and fast-growing environment - your proactivity, attention to details and problem solving will help you to succeed in this position.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• source and secure a suitable range of products for our Customers;
• negotiate the best possible prices and conditions of trade;
• oversee and take accountability for purchase orders;
• ensure Customers have all product information and certification before each delivery;
• work with the Sales team to ensure product availability and sales are maximised;
• work with Sales team to review product performance, plan and grow the sales;
• work closely with Logistics team to guarantee on time deliveries, quality control and the return to supplier process, ensuring stock is returned promptly;
• work closely with Logistics and Customs teams to make sure all processes are coordinated and all documents are provided on time;
• meet with suppliers to review brand/product performance and develop new opportunities, ensuring products comply with M-Duo International’s long-term objectives and quality standards;
• develop supplier relationships, keeping up to date with new trends and competitor activity;
• negotiate vendor contracts and ensure they are executed promptly.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Degree in economics or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience as buying assistant/junior buyer/buyer
• Preferably previous experience in fashion/cosmetics categories
• Experience in vendor negotiation
• English: fluent
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office (especially Excel)

· Salary package: 25-35K based on experience + bonus
