Junior Engineering Recruiter (Italy – Milan)

About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Engineering Recruiter to join our Milan team and kick-start their career in technical recruitment within a dynamic outsourcing environment. In this role, you'll learn the full recruitment lifecycle while supporting the placement of engineering professionals with our client portfolio across Italy. Location: Milan, Italy (Full-time, in-office)
Contract Type: Permanent Employment
Salary Range : €25.000 - €30.000
What You'll Do
- Support end-to-end recruitment processes for engineering roles across disciplines, including mechanical, civil, industrial, and electrical engineering.
- Source and engage candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, CV databases, referrals, and other networks.
- Screen CVs and conduct initial candidate interviews to assess technical fit and motivation.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of engineering professionals available for outsourcing and staff augmentation projects.
- Work closely with senior recruiters and account managers to understand client needs, project timelines, and technical requirements.
- Ensure every candidate receives a professional and positive experience throughout the process.
- Keep our ATS (Applicant Tracking System) up to date with accurate candidate and process information.
- Develop an understanding of the Italian engineering talent market and outsourcing landscape.
What We're Looking For
- 0–2 years of experience in recruitment, HR, or a talent-related role. Experience in engineering, technical, or outsourcing environments is a plus but not required.
- A genuine interest in the engineering sector and in building a career in technical recruitment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills — you're comfortable talking to people at all levels of seniority.
- Highly organized with good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple open roles simultaneously.
- A proactive, results-driven attitude with a willingness to learn quickly.
- Fluency in Italian (essential) and a good working level of English (required).
