Junior Finance Controller (m/w/d)

The Junior Finance Controller will support improving the holistic reporting and KPI system to track and analyse financial, business and operational performance/budget deviations and delivering business analysis helpful to address strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support controlling function and Performance Management for overall Italy (Direct and Franchise) regarding financial and operational performance
• Support in the preparation of reports, presentations and analyses for Top Management and Head-quarters
• Financial support and planning for business cases and expansion projects
• Managing the reporting and KPI set as well as corresponding processes to monitor the business
• Ensure budget tracking measures and analyze possible deviations
• Supporting cost management activities as well as measures to improve efficiency
• Develop business analysis (e.g., customer analysis, marketing and recruiting activities ROI) to support strategic action plans

Qualifications

• 2/3 Years of experience as a financial or business controller in structured companies
• Analytical and financial capabilities – finding insights & actions from data, including the ability to interpret complex data
• Soft spot for performance management and optimization based on data/financial insights
• Curiosity in setting-up and improving reporting capabilities
• Ability to work in parallel on different tasks and with time pressure
• Holistic approach to processes and task – from design to execution
• High quality and accuracy mindset; critical thinker and problem‑solving skills
• Strong team player

Technical Requirements

• Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Business Planning and Modelling skills
• Experience with advanced controlling tools
• Proven English proficiency
• BA/ M.Sc. in Economics/ Finance/ Management/ Engineering/ Statistics

Additional Qualifications

• Experience in Tableau
• Previous working experiences in consulting firms/private equity/ B2C companies
