As a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer in Milan, you will support the Infrastructure and Structural teams on national and international projects, plan and supervise ground investigations, and apply academic knowledge to real-world geotechnical challenges. You will help analyse, model, and report technical findings, and communicate design solutions to diverse audiences. You will also engage in geotechnical research with Arup’s global networks, fostering a culture of learning. This role offers growth through hands-on projects, mentorship, and exposure to a world-class multidisciplinary environment. Professional Growth & Development Financial Well-being & Ownership Plan, supervise, and report on ground investigations ensuring quality data and clear reporting Contribute to technical analysis, modelling, and reporting for infrastructure projects Communicate design solutions (foundations, retaining structures, underground structures, slopes and earthworks) to technical and non-technical audiences Support across Infrastructure and Structural teams on national and international projects Engage in geotechnical research with Arup's global Ground Engineering Skills Network and partners Master degree in Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent Plan to acquire membership with Ordine degli Ingegneri Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with eagerness to learn Excellent communication and teamwork skills High motivation, proactivity and willingness to take on new challenges Interest and ability in digital space, 3D modelling, scripting, or GIS would be an advantage
