We are currently looking for a motivated Junior Mechanical Design Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for the design of the assigned mechanical and composite parts.

Responsibilities
- Support in deriving detailed design specifications for subsystems based on vehicle‑level requirements.
- Responsible for executing detailed design tasks under guidance, including hand calculations and the production of accurate detail drawings.
- Contribute to design reviews, ensuring that safety, reliability, performance and manufacturability targets are considered.
- Under supervision and guidance from senior designers prepare documentation for component testing and trackside activities.
- Help addressing quality issues during production through investigation and corrective‑action support.
- Stay informed of relevant technologies and design standards as part of ongoing development.
Collaboration and Professionalism
- Work closely with concept, vehicle performance, and aerodynamics teams to support the integration of suspension and driver‑control components.
- Assist in interactions with suppliers and technical partners under the direction of senior engineers/team leader.
- Collaborate with the reliability and quality assurance teams to address faults and resolve quality issues identified during inspections or on‑track operations.
- Provide occasional remote support from the factory (Operations Room) during selected race or track events.
- Demonstrate flexibility in working hours and responsibilities, depending on project and operational needs.
Experience needed
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Some experience or academic exposure to motorsport, automotive or aeronautical design; interest in suspension and driver‑control systems is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of Italian is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of metallic materials and associated treatments.
- Awareness of composite materials and manufacturing processes is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively under guidance in a dynamic, high‑pressure environment.
- Previous experience with Siemens NX or other CAD tools is preferred.
- Strong motivation to learn, ability to break down tasks, and willingness to take initiative.
- Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and suppliers.
